Rezz Drops New Collab with Malaa During Freaky Deaky Performance [WATCH]

Rezz & Malaa Ring In Halloween With Their Epic Collab, “Criminals”

There’s lots of new music to tune into this Halloween. Between new 1788-L, RL Grime, Martin Garrix, and more, it can be hard to choose. That being said, for Rezz and Malaa fans, the choice is clear.

The two just dropped their first collab together, “Criminals.” At first listen, it’s a brilliant combination of both their styles, melding Malaa’s house vibes with Rezz’s more technical synth and bass work. With each successive listen, the intricacies make themselves more and more clear, from the vocal work to the tiny little background synths that give it that really spooky ambiance.

Check out “Criminals” below! You can find tickets to see Rezz on tour here, and Malaa here.

Darude's "Sandstorm" Is 20 Years Old Today

Darude’s “Sandstorm” Is 20 Years Old Today

It’s been 20 years since Darude first unleashed his massive dance hit “Sandstorm” — and it’s still a banger.

The single first dropped in Finland in 1999 and was later released in many other countries in 2000. “Sandstorm” rose on the charts, hitting number one in the UK, among others. It was an instant smash.

Easily one of the most recognizable tracks in the history of EDM, Darude’s classic anthem is still relevant and thriving. The kind of hype this hit has attracted over two decades is absolutely insane. Now, it’s been pumping up crowds for 20 straight years.

Listen To Galantis’ New Song With Dolly Parton & Mr Probz, “Faith,” Out Now

After announcing their collaboration with Dolly Parton and Mr Probz, “Faith,” last week, Galantis have finally released their new single and it’s available to listen now!

Of course, Dolly Parton is the real headline here. The legendary singer with hits like “Jolene” and “9 to 5” makes her EDM debut with Galantis on this perfect, feel-good tune that fits her style perfectly. The little vocal embellishments atop the cheery synths make this one of the brightest songs that the Swedish duo have ever released.

“I was on the phone with a Christian (Karlsson), talking about a song called ‘Faith’ and an album called
‘Church’,” said Dolly Parton of how the collaboration came to be. “I knew I was in the right place.”

ZHU Gets Dirty On “Came For The Low” with partywithray

ZHU has been on an absolute roll in 2019 after releasing his stunning RINGOS DESERT album last year. Having already teamed up with Sofi Tukker, NGHTMRE, and The Bloody Beetroots, he now turns to partywithray for an enthralling and absolutely dirty deep house song, “Came For The Low.”

“Came For The Low” is everything anyone should want in a dirty house track. It has a perfectly textured bassline, and those super deep vocals hit just the right spot coupled with ZHU’s own idiosyncratic vocal style. Everything blends and intermingles fantastically, creating one swirling pool of sound that is just as easy to jump into as it is hard to get out of.

Listen to “Came For The Low” from ZHU and partywithray below.

Justice Debut New Collaboration With Frank Ocean

Justice Debut New Collaboration With Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean launched a new club night in NYC last night shrouded in mystery — the location wasn’t revealed publicly and tickets were only available to those who’d be sent a specific link. (How those people actually got the link, I’m not sure.) Shares Mixmag, “The title for the party is PrEP+, which also stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis, ‘a way for people who do not have HIV but who are at very high risk of getting HIV to prevent HIV infection by taking a pill every day,’ according to the CDC.”

One of the house rules for the night was “no photos or videos,” but that was apparently broken, and we’re thankful it was, to share this new Justice and Frank Ocean collaboration debuted at the club.

The house rule made the videos below understandably low quality, but fans of both artists will still take pleasure in hearing some new material. Ocean was reportedly going up in the DJ booth “sporadically,” as Mixmag put it, to share new music with collaborators like Sango and Sherelle.

Check out the videos below.

Galantis Announces New Song Out With Legend Dolly Parton Next Week

Galantis have worked with an innumerable amount of stellar artists, from Passiot Pit to OneRepublic to Yellow Claw, Rozes, Throttle, Wrabel, and more. Now, the Swedish production duo is set to release their biggest collab ever with the legendary Dolly Parton on October 25th.

The single, “Faith,” which also features Mr. Probz for even more star power, is Ms. Parton’s first foray into electronic music. While it’s not like a Dolly Parton collaboration had ever been officially ruled out, it’s still incredible to see all the new artists EDM is bringing into to the fold.

As far as we can tell, the single hasn’t even been played out live yet. But stay tuned, we’re likely to get some sort of clip before it’s officially out next Friday! Pre-save it here.
