G Jones – In Your Head (RL Grime Edit) | Stream

If you’ve caught RL Grime or G Jones lately, chances are you’ve heard RL Grime’s insane edit of “In Your Head.” Over the past few months, the two artists have been heavily teasing the edit online and at recent shows, creating a massive amount of hype around the release. Today, courtesy of RL Grime’s Sable Valley imprint, we’re finally getting our hands on the full edit and it does not disappoint. Letting his creative power reign free, the trap don pushes G Jones’s unique free-flowing bass masterpiece to the next level for a devastatingly hard edit that goes off live.Peach Gallagher

Lee Foss Responds To Stolen San Holo Lyrics Accusation

[ad_1]

If you don’t already know, it was recently discovered that Chris Lake & Lee Foss’s new song “Lies, Deception and Fantasy” contained a chorus 99% identical to that of San Holo’s “Light.”

Lee responded to a fan on Instagram, claiming to have never heard the song before. The fact that Lee hasn’t heard the song before is embarrassing within its own right, and it’s hard to believe that two people so ingrained in music haven’t heard a song as big as “Light” even if it’s not directly in their genre.

Still, Chris and Lee Foss are both huge names in their own genres, and it’s doubtful they’d ever do something so obvious on purpose or will actual ill intent. Listen to their track below and decide for yourself.

Lollapalooza Announces 2019 Aftershows

[ad_1]

Roho Foto for Lollapalooza

Can you believe it is already June? That means Lollapalooza is less than two months away. Every year – Lollapalooza calls Downtown, Chicago its home for what is now a four-day festival. And although strict sound curfews require music to end at 10 pm – the music never actually stops at 10 pm.

As the festival ends each night – and even a couple of days before the fest – acts playing Lollapalooza will move to more intimate venues for an extra set. Got some brutal conflicts? This is the way to solve some of them. Brownies and Lemonade will be bringing their party to Chicago’s Chop Shop for their 3rd straight Lollapalooza with a lineup made by nothing else but “Special Guests All Night.” Concord Music Hall has a huge 5 days of shows in a row as they will be hosting San Holo, NGHTMRE & SLANDER, J.I.D., FKJ, and a rare intimate performance from RL Grime. Hometown heroes, Louis The Child,  will be closing out Lollapalooza weekend with a return to The Metro – where they haven’t played since 2016. Check out the full aftershow schedule below – all tickets will be on sale on Friday.
