Why Does EDM Twitter Have (%) In Their Names? San Holo’s % Blessed Explained

It all started back at EDC Las Vegas this past year when San Holo told the crowd to stay vibrant… it was at that point that his fans decided to take it upon themselves and make “vibrant” a thing, but San Holo has now taken it so much further and incorporated it as part of his branding.

Earlier this month, a full stay vibrant page appeared on his website, explaining the ethos behind the phrase and what it means to him and to fans.

It all started with me searching for a word to express a certain feeling.
A feeling that hit me while being surrounded by great energy. The only word that came close to describing this feeling was ‘vibrant’.
For some reason, it captured almost everything I wanted to say and it stuck with me.
Staying vibrant became a part of my mindset.
Of course, not all days are equally vibrant… Embracing the fact that life is all about ups and downs is very important.
Telling people how you feel is not always easy. When I try to express what I really feel, words rarely seem to capture the essence. Most feelings are so much bigger than words could ever describe. Using the percentage % seems like the perfect way to express how I feel without putting it into words.
People have been asking a lot of questions about ‘stay vibrant’, so I put together a little FAQ. I hope this helps you to stay vibrant and keep

San Holo Losing His Shoe At Airport Security Is Everything [VIDEO]

San Holo has become the kind of relatable content lately. Of course, the old adage “they’re just like us” rings true in most situations, but it always seems like DJs are living a lavish lifestyle.

Then again, when you see this video of San walking thru TSA with only one shoe looking for his missing one, you get the sense that the adage is probably more true than you ever thought. Between playing to hundreds or thousands of people, sleeping in hotels, meeting fans, DJs really are just like you and me… normal people who lose their shoes going through airport security.

Hopefully we’ll have some more music-related content about San to share soon enough, but you can enjoy this clip for now.

Insomniac Drops Map and Set Times For Escape Psycho Circus 2019

Insomniac Drops Map and Set Times For Escape Psycho Circus 2019

Set times are officially out for Escape Psycho Circus, going down this Friday and Saturday at NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA. It’s always a joyous occasion whenever set times are released as headliners can revel in the joy of all the amazing music they’re about to witness. However, it can also be a time of sorrow when you see the time conflicts and all the acts you won’t be able to see. Nonetheless, the show must go on. We’re here to help you navigate the two days of Halloween-themed madness that is the Psycho Circus.

This year’s edition of the festival will feature a completely new layout and new stage designs. Gone are the Slaughterhouse, Ghoul’s Graveyard, Chopping Block, and Cannibal’s Tea Party. In are the Grimm, Psycho Circus, Sanitarium and Sewer District. There’s also a new central hub of the festival called Crazy Town. I am beyond excited to see what Insomniac has in store for us for this year’s edition of Escape.

Back to the set times. The Grimm will be hosting all of the heavy hitters over the weekend. Dillon Francis, Timmy Trumpet and Duke Dumont highlight Night 1 with deadmau5 closing things out. Night 2 highlights include Don Diablo, RL Grime and Alok, with Alesso closing out the weekend. The second stage is the Psycho Circus, Bassrush will be holding it down on Night 1 with a stacked lineup including Bear Grillz, Borgore, ATLiens, and the

San Holo Trolls DJ Mag 100 Top DJs In Hilarious Video [WATCH]

San Holo Trolls DJ Mag 100 Top DJs In Hilarious Video [WATCH]

San Holo is really torn up over this DJ Mag 100 Top DJs thing…

Just kidding, he’s actually not.

In the video below, the producer takes to Twitter to share his feelings about the annual list, which officially announced over the weekend. “I’m sorry for failing you guys,” he jokes.

Unfortunately, San Holo didn’t make the list this year, but there are no actual hard feelings. His video simply trolls the entire ranking process and he has a point. Although, the DJ/producer does deserve some sort of acting award, because his performance is top notch.

The moral of the story here is that there’s no way to really rank an artist — and no need to. Art is subjective and should speak for itself. A DJ/producer doesn’t gain any real value from making a list, except maybe bragging rights and a higher paycheck.

We definitely feel him on this — but we’re still suckers for a good list. What do you think?

San Holo x What So Not Debut New Collaboration At ADE

San Holo’s label bitbird held their ADE showcase last night with sets from the whole label, including San Holo himself, DROELOE, Duskus, Eastghost, and more. It also included a set from What So Not, as the two have previously collaborated on “If You Only Knew,” from WSN’s 2018 album.

During the show last night, the two came on stage together to premiere a new song for the first time. We’ve known the two were recording a second song since earlier this year, but to finally hear it now is something truly vibrant.

Check out the still untitled collaboration below!
