Shark-loving DJ Jauz has fully embraced his iconic Jaws-themed branding with his latest venture. With a label imprint called Bite This! and an official remix of Pinkfong’s “Baby Shark,” Jauz’s admiration for the sharp-toothed fish is no secret and he’s only continued to find new ways of incorporating it into his musical career. Today, Jauz announced that he will be featured on Discovery Channel’s late-night Shark Week recap show Shark After Dark all week long. Jauz‘s latest single “Truth,” finds him crossing realms with i_o. This dynamic tech-house heater speaks on all counts of versatility. Jauz, the fearless producer that caters to any style of house he wishes to. Then there’s i_o, the rising techno trailblazer that clearly isn’t shy to experiment from the boundaries his predecessors have set. Coming in good faith, this record delivers the second single off of Jauz’s upcoming house and tech/house compilation LP “Jauz Presents: This Is Off The Deep End” out on July 26th via Bite This.
Jauz made a name for himself with his wonderfully chaotic tunes, seamlessly jumping from genre to genre with ease. His newest single, “Don’t Leave Me” is a bit different. The almost six-minute track is a step in a different direction for this young songwriter. It kicks off with a gorgeous melodic intro with a catchy simple vocal that will make any house-head groove. The second half of the song is almost acid-house inspired with some lovely little growls from the sharkmaster himself. “Don’t Leave Me” is the first track off Jauz’s upcoming house and tech house compilation Jauz Presents: This Is Off The Deep End, which drops July 26th via Bite This!. Jauz is leveling up with some major news. Already dominating the year with his massive “Baby Shark” remix and wild Coachella performance, Jauz is taking his career one step further by announcing the first-ever This Is Off The Deep End compilation. Out July 26th via Jauz’s very own Bite This! imprint, This Is Off The Deep End will feature ten house and techno tracks, two of which will come from Jauz himself. The compilation will not only shine a spotlight on Jauz’s curative skills but also showcase a new side of his diverse project. New Jauz music is just around the corner. The producer took to Twitter to proclaim, “July is for HOUSE MUSIC.” In his tweet, Jauz teased a new project as well as two new songs that he claims are some of his favorites in a long time. It’s not entirely clear, but it seems that Jauz is hinting at a new artist project entirely, which would be very exciting. Jauz is coming off a bass-heavy collaboration with Axel Boy and his infamous “Baby Shark” remix. Stay tuned for more updates on Jauz’s upcoming project.
Following his recent remix of “Baby Shark,” Bite This! label head Jauz is joining forces with UK bass producer Axel Boy for an outrageous anthem just in time for the summer festival season. The lead single from Axel Boy’s upcoming debut EP, “I Dare You” is hot enough to satisfy both the bass heads and house lovers with energetic melodies, screeching synths, and dynamic bass drops.
