Flume Shares Behind The Scenes Footage From Hi This Is Flume Visualizer

Flume surprised fans in March with his mindblowing 17-track mixtape Hi This is Flume. It came perfectly paired with a custom visualizer, which starred Flume. Flume has now shared some behind the scenes footage from their filming of the 43-minute companion visualizer. Check out the behind the scenes action and full visualizer below.

Jonathan Zawada and I shot the visualizer for Hi This Is Flume over a couple of weeks at the start of 2019 traveling around the southern part of Western Australia. It’s a part of the country that I’d always wanted to go to… salt lakes, beaches, burnt out forests, snakes, yabbies, motorbikes, endless dirt roads. – Flume

Rumors Circulate That New Flume Music is Dropping Soon

Thanks to r/Flume, we have reason to suspect that the Australian producer will be dropping new music as early as June 21st, the first day of Summer. Fans are speculating that Flume left hints for us on his Hi The Is Flume mixtape: the project was dropped on the first day of spring (March 20th), with the final track on the mixtape even called “Spring.” This has led fans to believe Harley has something planned on the first day of summer. If that wasn’t enough, another Reddit user added that the four squares at the top left of the mixtape’s cover art may symbolize the four seasons.

And now with the most interesting hint of them all: the other day Flume posted a picture of himself with some goats on Instagram. One of the animals is tagged as @totesmgoats1, leading to a profile with the following bio: “Hay This Is Goat (Mixtape) out 6.21.19.” Either this is a brilliant troll job by Flume himself, or – more likely – we should expect new music from Harley as early as next month.

The Remix Pack Vol. 046

Our 46th edition has landed with new remixes from Diplo, Flosstradamus, Mija, RAC, Party Pupils, Justice Skolnik, and more. Check out our favorite remixes of the week below and follow our Run The Remixes playlist on Spotify.

Lil Nas X – Old Town Road (feat. Billy Ray Cyrus) [Diplo Remix] | Stream

After announcing his newfound country star moniker Thomas Wesley, Diplo is back with new country-flavored music with an official remix of Lil Nas X’s viral sensation “Old Town Road.” The track arrives right after the producer’s Stagecoach Festival performance, where he brought out both Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus for a surprise performance of the track. As you’ll quickly hear, Diplo adds a ton of high-energy percussion to the record while still keeping the vibe of the original intact. Max Chung

NGHTMRE & A$AP Ferg – REDLIGHT (Flosstradamus Remix) | Stream

The dance music community exploded when NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg collided on the potential festival anthem “Redlight.” The tracks obnoxious rap lines do the trick as it immediately injects you with energy. It was a given that the original would see renditions from many but the one to stick out from the pack is Flosstradamus‘ new remix. The trap icon adds a new height to the original and elevates its liveliness. Omar Serrano
