GRiZ surprised fans last month when he unleashed an insanely heavy three-track EP titled Bangers.Zip. Well, GRiZ just dropped the sequel on us. Bangers.Zip was just released on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats imprint. Similar to the first edition of Bangers, the project is absolutely dripping with a heavier, ‘wubbier’ sound than we typically see from the funky saxophonist. The EP’s standout track is obviously GRiZ’s highly-anticipated collaboration with Subtronics. Check out the entire EP below.

Moody Good might not be a household name, but his music has been a staple in the bass music scene for the better part of a decade. His iconic remix of Slum Village’s “Fall In Love” is regarded as one of the best remixes of the mid-2010s and his remix of Noisia’s “Get Deaded” was in heavy rotation long after its release. His new single “Bite Your Lip” is a heavy-hitting, rail-moving ripper of a track that will have crowds hitting peak energy. Have a listen for yourself below!

One of my favorite things about Zeds Dead is their willingness to put on new artists. They utilize their notoriety to help these up and coming acts share their music and movement. The latest example of this is Gentlemens Club’s new EP DEADSET. It’s a perfect 2 track EP for Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats imprint. Dubstep lovers and rail riders are going to enjoy both bodacious songs. Have a listen below and see what’s good.

When Zeds Dead first began their Deadbeats imprint, they had no idea of the impact it would have on the dance music community. The label has become one of the hottest trendsetters in trap and bass music and has gone on to host multiple stacked tours. 2019 marks Deadbeats’ third annual tour and it’s sure to be just as stellar as its predecessors. The brainchild of Zeds Dead has enlisted acts like REZZ, k?d, Ekali, G Jones, Drezo, WHIPPED CREAM, and LICK in previous years, so although the lineup is still unknown, fans can expect to see plenty of their favorite artists throughout this year’s tour. This year alone, Deadbeats has released projects by 1788-L, Rusko, DNMO, blanke, LICK, PEEKABOO, and SHADES, which could be indicative of potential lineup additions.
Deadbeats will be heading to a number of festivals this summer including Sunset Music Festival, Paradiso, Escapade, and Audiotistic, along with a two-night takeover of Colorado’s prestigious Red Rocks Amphitheatre. With more dates to be announced, Deadbeats’ third annual tour is gearing up to be their biggest yet. Stay tuned for more information regarding Deadbeats’ upcoming 2019 tour.
